- Abstract:
- In recent years, the frequency of large wildfires has been increasing significantly due to a number of factors, including the effects of climate change, urbanization, mismanagement of the countryside and malicious acts.The project Advanced Forest Fire Fighting (AF3) intends to add a significant contribution to the current fire-fighting operations and to the protection of human lives , the environment and infrastructure through the development of innovative technologies and means to ensure a high level of integration between existing and new systems.
